Physical Description: A darker-colored SandWing on the smaller side, with gray-green eyes. A freckled snout and usually-smiling face. She wears a small satchel around her neck, which her pet collared lizard typically lives in/hangs onto.

+Curious+
Yucca is bouncy and curious, wanting to know practically everything. Including the irrelevant and stupid things that she wouldn't really need to know. She also has a bad habit of butting into other dragons' business, but she means well when she does it.

+Energetic+
She seems to barely sleep sometimes and yet Yucca's still always full of energy and ready to go do basically anything 24/7. If she's not bouncing of the walls, something's wrong.

+Friendly+
Yucca is quite kind and very open to any dragon; she's extroverted and really just wants a bunch of friends to go screw off with.

/Determined/
When Yucca sets her mind to something, she's almost guaranteed to not give up on it. It might take her three years to do, but she's not giving up. Only real reason she'll completely give up on something is if she forgets about it, which she might do, so...

/Competitive/
In any kind of contest, Yucca wants to win. She might be silly and aloof, but she takes challenges and competition pretty seriously. Of course, if you beat her, she won't really hold it against you. But Yucca likes to win.

/Emotional/
Please never expect this dragon to be stoic. Her face, though usually smiling, actively displays her emotions. Yucca embraces her emotions and definitely isn't afraid to feel them--she can also kind of read other dragons' emotions, too. (But she's not really good at helping others get over things...)

-Forgetful-
Honestly, if she doesn't write it down, Yucca's going to forget it. Her memory is terrible and she's extremely scatterbrained.

-Procrastinating-
It'll get done... just--just maybe a month from now. Yucca's a serial procrastinator and a professional at throwing things together last-minute because she waited too long to do it.

-Silly-
Most of the time Yucca is aloof, silly, and unfocused. She really just wants to have fun, and rarely takes anything seriously. She can be a bit irritating to be around at times because of this.

H I S T O R Y

Yucca hatched in a small predominantly-SandWing town close to the coast. As far as she knows, she's an only dragonet; only her mother raised her. She lowkey hopes that, maybe, she has some half-brothers or half-sisters, and that she'll actually be friends with her father sometime.

Yucca's mother's name is Pear, which is apparently short for Prickly Pear (Yucca would call herself Pear, too, if her name had Prickly in it). Pear was quite loving and sweet despite the prickles in her full name, and Yucca claims her to be the best mother ever.

At about three years old, Yucca started to take an interest in animals other than dragons: scavengers, bugs, fish... but her biggest interest was lizards. She didn't much like how lizards and reptiles tasted, so she caught a small Desert Night Lizard and started keeping it as a pet. Unfortunately, one of her friends in town (a dragonet a year older than her, Elf), didn't understand that the lizard was a pet and not a snack. Oops. Yucca cried for about an hour before Elf brought her a young collared lizard to replace the one he ate. Apology accepted, Yucca took the collared lizard as her new pet and named him Seaback. She still has him at the time.

Since the coast was only a few hour's flight from her village, Yucca frequently flew there with her few friends as she got older. There was one partial-SeaWing dragonet in the village, and she often made the flight with Yucca. The partial-SeaWing (Spring) taught Yucca how to swim and fish; despite being full SandWing, Yucca actually loves water and prefers a fish to almost any other food.

Despite being basically an adult now, at age 7, Yucca still desperately wanted to head to JMA, at least for a year. Then maybe she'll go out on her own, or be a teacher, or do something. Yucca doesn't really know what she wants to do just yet, aside from attend school to get a more proper education. She learned to write and read as a dragonet, and can keep a lizard alive, but she's otherwise kinda clueless.
